WindEurope 2026, one of the biggest annual events in the wind energy industry, recently took place in Madrid. At the booth of Ammonit, Movelaser joined its European partner to showcase lidar solutions designed for next‑generation wind energy development.

Movelaser has long been dedicated to applying high‑performance lidar technology to wind energy measurement, with a focus on improving wind resource assessment, boosting operational efficiency, and ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments.

At the show, Movelaser presented the Molas NL, a nacelle‑mounted wind lidar that, installed on top of a turbine, measures wind speed, direction, and turbulence ahead of the rotor. This data helps optimize pitch and yaw control, increasing energy output while reducing mechanical loads. The Movelaser team also had valuable technical exchanges with international peers and potential partners.
